Tomatillos (harvest when the shell is no longer green)

Ground cherries (these are sweet!)

Our garden is open for the entire Border Star Community to enjoy.
Be CuriousLearners, educators, family + community members are welcome in this space! Use all 5 senses to explore and look for signs to learn about what’s growing.
Be NeighborlyWe share harvests with everyone. Students should always ask a grown-up before picking anything. We do not waste food.
Be SafeWe don’t stand or walk on the garden beds. We are safe with garden tools & carry them down by our sides.
Be RespectfulStay on pathways, be careful with plants, insects and other living creatures. We respect and care for the food we grow. Practice mindfulness here.
Be HelpfulPick up after yourself, pick weeds if you see them and keep soil where it belongs, in the garden beds. Let’s keep our garden space neat & tidy!
